POSH Act Compliance: Internal Committee and Annual Reports

The POSH Act applies to every workplace with 10 or more employees. Non-compliance attracts fines up to ₹50,000 and cancellation of business licences.
Constituting the Internal Committee
An IC must have a senior woman chairperson, two internal members, and one external member from an NGO.
Awareness and training
Mandatory POSH training for all employees, with refreshers for IC members.
Annual report filing
File the annual POSH report with the District Officer by 31 January each year.
